Independent German experts in the field of law, marketing, finance and risk management have recommended to the business of Germany and other European Union states to consider Belarus as a strategic partner. Such an opinion became decisive during the forum “Belarus as a gateway to the CIS countries”, held on November 18 in Dusseldorf (Germany).
The openness of Belarus, its integration into the Eurasian Economic Union and its special geographical position made the country most attractive for trade, economic and investment relations.
The Great Stone, located between China and Germany along the line of “One Belt, One Way”, is today considered by German business as a geopolitically and strategically important platform for the localization of its production in the CIS. Since 2018, the participation of German capital and management in the development of the Great Stone reinforced the positive perception of the project by the German business community. Out of 57 residents of the Great Stone, 2 companies implement their projects with the participation of German capital.
Benefits and preferences, developed infrastructure, scale and prospects of the Great Stone became the most interesting to German enterprises in the field of machine tool construction, automotive components, new materials, biotechnologies.
