For the first time in the history of development of the free economic zones of the Republic of Belarus, the Great Stone Industrial Park took part in the FDi Free Zones of the Year 2019 ranking, organized by the reputable international publication Financial Times.
The Great Stone Industrial Park was noted by the international experts in more than one nomination:
“Trade Facilitation” - recognition of the Great Stone Industrial Park as a zone for facilitating trade through developed customs infrastructure, the customs clearance point, allowing all customs procedures to be done directly in one place.
“Expansion” - the formidable potential of the expanding business and existing production facilities in the Great Stone Industrial Park. As examples, IPG Photonics Corporation (US) acquired additional land as private property for the implementation of the 2nd stage of its investment project.
FDi Free Zones of the Year rating is an annual rating of free economic zones based on indicators of investment inflows, ease of doing business and the appropriate infrastructure indicators. This rating is based on the analytical data of FDi Intelligence and is an authoritative source for choosing an investment location.
The independent high performance evaluation by the international experts demonstrates the unique conditions for doing business in the region and enables the Great Stone Industrial Park to be considered as a key point that unites the markets of the European Union and Eurasian Economic Union.
