On February 26 the Deputy Director of the Industrial Park Development Company Sergei Vaitekhovski took part in the 17th meeting of the Belarusian-German Working Group on Trade and Investment, where he informed the German side about the business opportunities in the Park in the context of the initiative “One belt, one way” and possibilities of work on the entire market of the Eurasian Economic Union.

On the German side, Eckhard Franz, Director of the Foreign Economic Policy Department of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy, is the co-chair of the working group. In his speech, he noted that the Great Stone Industrial Park left a lasting impression during his visit in 2019. He also stressed that the Industrial Park is a unique place and it’s one of the best zones for business development in the Republic of Belarus.

Dmitry Chervyakov, Project Manager of the German Economic Group in Belarus (GET Belarus), noted in his research that the Industrial Park created good conditions for starting and developing entrepreneurship.

During the visit to Leipzig, the Belarusian side visited the BMW plant and got acquainted with the production of cars, new directions of development and plans of the company.

In addition, representatives of the Industrial Park Development Company took part in the meeting of the Belarus-Saxony Business Council, where they held a presentation on the features of work in the Great Stone industrial park for the interested German companies.

During the visit to Germany, a number of bilateral meetings were held with German companies that consider the Republic of Belarus to expand their production, find partners, and enter the Eurasian Union market.
